Vibrating screens for dry and wet classification.
Vibrating screens are designed for dry and wet classification of lumpy materials in mining, construction and other industries for materials with density up to 2.8 ton/m3.
Association produces screens:
•double-impact screens– from 3 up to 8 standard sizes (fig. 1, 2)
•unbalanced throw screens – from 3 up to 8 standard sizes (fig. 3)

To provide efficient, reliable and durable work of vibrating screens, Scientific and Production Association RIVS uses modern methods of mathematical modeling using both commercial and own software. Ideology of vibrating screens design is based on several fundamental stages. 1 Based on the technological requirements for the constructed machine the characteristics of working part are determined, i.e. of screen - size, type and characteristics of screening surface and parameters of screen vibration. Methods of vibration displacement, nonlinear vibration and dynamic analysis are used. In some cases, such as if polyurethane screens are used, calculation methods of hyperelastics vibration are applied. 2 The scheme of screen box and selection of drive is determined, ensuring the desired character of motion of the working part on the basis of vibration simulation of the multi-mass system. In the case of use of self-synchronization phenomenon for unbalanced mass vibration generators the tests of the stability of self-synchronization on the basis of integral stability Blehman-Lavrov criteria. 3 Own screen box design is developed, which is checked for strength and hardness with modern computational methods such as finite element method 4 At the stage of issue of detailed design documentation, modern three-dimensional design software is used. After completion of designing stage, a prototype model is created, during the tests of which extensive field measurements with the use of modern portable equipment are performed. |

The designs of screens, protected by patents, were developed over the 1996 to 2007 period and provide adjustment for the required process parameters.
The screens provide:
• high efficiency of separation of materials by fineness;
• high reliability of operation of units;
• quick replacement of screening surfaces;
• low sound pressure level by use of rubber coating of some units of screens and their covers;
• low vibration loads on structures during operation by selecting the appropriate rate of support springs and dynamic parameters of screen operation.
All screens have a wide unification within one type and between the types: vibrators, connecting beams of boxes, elastic supports, screens, etc.
The screens can be mounted with either right or left positioning of the drive. Screens can be supplied with cover, and without it.
The screens can be equipped with grate, rubber (including string, belt and string screens and "ESALH" (“ЭСАЛХ”) type screens), wire or slotted screens with round, square and rectangular mesh.
The screens can be installed in both fixed and sliding versions; the screens can be slid back in both longitudinal and transverse direction.
On request of the Customer:
• number of screens can be changed;
• screening surface size can be increased or decreased as compared with those in the table;
• a screen can be supplied with a trolley or fixed frame, feeders, sprinkling system, dust and sound proof covers;
• lubrication of bearings of a vibrator can be consistent and liquid (oil bath, circulation);
• screens can be made for non-standard operating conditions, including the cramped conditions;
• screens can be made both in tropical and cold resistance designs
The screens for classification of large-size material (e.g., for classification of products of coarse and intermediate crushing for crushing sections of dressing plants) produced by the association have increased thickness of the side plates and strengthened connecting beams of the box. The screens are equipped with steel grate screening surface or special rubber screens.
The use of pre-screening can significantly improve the operation of crushers of fine and intermediate crushing due to exclusion of the original material fines, clay inclusions from their feed, while improving the overall performance of the crushing cycle without increasing the load on the crusher.
Improving the quality of the original feed of fine crushers allows operating them on minimal crushing gaps, reducing size of the material feeding for grinding.
