The International Mineral Processing Congress has existed for over sixty years. The first time the Congress was held in September 1952 in London was attended by 332 delegates, and this was, indeed, an impressive start to a series of ever-growing congresses. This event has become the main driving force for the advancement of scientific and technical knowledge in the field of mineral processing and mining metallurgy all over the world.
